New eCommerce website for The MLJ Recordings Trust!
Fisher Solutions was commissioned to build two brand-new online shopping websites for The Martyn Lloyd-Jones Recordings Trust. The system was required to handle customer orders for the organisation's two websites as well as allow the freedom for the Trust to create their own additional pages within the website structure. As well as physical products such as books and CDs the website also needed to manage the sale and download of digital items - namely MP3 audio files.
To meet all of the requirements an IBM Lotus Notes database system was built. All of the website management and product maintenance is done via the IBM Lotus Notes Client software.
Visitors to the websites are able to freely browse the product categories or search for something more specific. Return customers can also log in using their chosen username and password, and once logged in the website a customer can review the status of any orders they have placed as well as manage a wishlist of items they plan to purchase in the near future.
