Fisher Solutions was birthed in January 2006 as a response to a perceived lack of high quality Web and Information Technology (IT) services at affordable prices. The company’s main areas of work are bespoke database solutions, Web Design, and IT support.

Pulling on over 7 years of experience in the industry, Fisher Solutions is more than able to meet the IT development needs of most organisations and home users. About Rob Fisher

Rob Fisher is the Managing Director of Fisher Solutions. During his career he has gained vast experience working in all aspects of the IT industry, from development to support and security to people management.

Rob worked for several years as a senior Systems Analyst and Lotus Notes database developer for a very reputable IT solutions company based in Kidderminster. This work gave Rob a great ability for understanding individual clients needs and translating that into a system that is tailor made for them.

The next step in Rob’s career took him to work for the international Christian charity 'Christ for All Nations'. He accepted the position of IT Manager in October 2003. It was here that Rob was able to broaden his knowledge of information systems, quickly learning server maintenance, networking, telecoms and security systems while looking after the organisation’s own Lotus Notes databases. Within a year of Rob working at CfaN, four of the international offices had adopted the Lotus Notes application as their main Partner tracking and mailing system. Rob was key in the implementation of this rollout.

Rob is fluent in several programming languages, including; Visual Basic, Java, javascript, vbscript, Lotus Script, PHP and HTML. He is also experienced in the setup and administration of IBM Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange servers. In his own words Rob would describe himself as 'always a work in progress', implying that he will never finish developing and adding to his skills.

Rob lives in Rowley Regis (West Midlands) with his wife Kelly and their young daughter Katie. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, Nintendo Wii and Movies.

Rob is a born-again Christian, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 14. Rob understands and will testify that everything he has in life is a gift from God. Both Rob and Kelly are Partner Members at Flame Community Church in Blackheath.
